Vinh City fined more than 1,200 cases of epidemic prevention and control violations nearly 2.9 billion VND
(Baonghean.vn) - Although Vinh City is strictly implementing epidemic prevention measures, requiring people to stay at home, many people still violate them.
Since August 23, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee has directed Vinh City residents to stay at home and not go out to prevent the epidemic. All functional forces of the city, all wards and communes have been mobilized simultaneously, setting up checkpoints and strictly checking passersby.
On August 27, the policeVinh City53 cases of violations of going out on the street without necessary reason or valid documents were fined with a total amount of 330 million VND.

Authoritieswards and communesalso stepped up the handling of cases of non-compliance with regulations on epidemic prevention and control on August 27. Specifically, Ben Thuy ward had 20 cases with a total fine of 21 million VND, Le Mao ward had 3 cases with a total fine of 3 million VND, Hung Dung ward had 2 cases with a total fine of 4 million VND, Quan Bau ward had 8 cases...
According to statistics from the Vinh City People's Committee, since the first Covid-19 infection case appeared in Vinh City on June 13, Vinh City has had 1,211 cases of violations of regulations on epidemic prevention and control with a total fine of nearly 2.9 billion VND.
