Following the activities of the Nghe An National Assembly Delegation, it can be seen that the delegates, whether working locally or in central agencies, are very concerned with the issues of voters and people both in the constituency and across the country.

In particular, at the National Assembly forum, many pressing issues that have existed for a long time beyond the province's authority have been conveyed. At the National Assembly forum, the National Assembly Delegates of Nghe An Delegation had many opinions to discuss the implementation of the socio-economic development plan and the State budget. For example, Delegate of Nghe An Delegation Dang Xuan Phuong, when discussing the socio-economic situation at the 5th Session, suggested that it is necessary to focus resources on solving the needs of food, accommodation, and education; improving the cultural and spiritual life of workers, cadres, civil servants, and public employees.

Contribute to improving the effectiveness and efficiency of the National Assembly's operations

The 6th Conference of the 13th Party Central Committee requested to focus on implementing a number of important policies and tasks to continue building and perfecting the socialist rule-of-law state of Vietnam, emphasizing the need to continue innovating the organization and operation of the National Assembly.

Implementing the Party's Resolution and promoting the achievements of the previous National Assembly, the 15th National Assembly continues to innovate in its methods and ways of organizing its activities; in which, National Assembly deputies are the representatives of the will and aspirations of the people, and are the center of the National Assembly; the activities of National Assembly deputies play an important role in determining the effectiveness and efficiency of the National Assembly's activities.

As one of the delegations with the largest number of delegates among the 63 National Assembly delegations nationwide, the activities of the Nghe An National Assembly Delegation have increasingly positive changes associated with innovation in the organization and operation of the National Assembly. In early 2023, to prepare for the 5th Session of the 15th National Assembly, the Provincial National Assembly Delegation coordinated with the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, the Standing Committee of the People's Council, and the District Fatherland Front Committee to organize meetings with voters for National Assembly deputies in accordance with regulations; thereby, synthesizing and transferring 58 petitions under the jurisdiction of the Central Government and the Provincial People's Committee for consideration and response in accordance with regulations.

Before the session, the Provincial National Assembly Delegation organized a working session with the Provincial People's Committee and relevant sectors to grasp the socio-economic situation of the province, the results of handling voters' petitions and the province's petitions and proposals to the Central Government to forward to the National Assembly, the Government and relevant ministries and sectors for consideration and settlement according to their authority; organized to collect comments on 17 draft laws submitted at the 5th Session. Delegates who are members of the Ethnic Council and the National Assembly Committees fully participated and were responsible for the review sessions and gave comments on draft laws as required by the National Assembly Standing Committee.

At the 5th Session of the 15th National Assembly, the National Assembly Deputies in Nghe An Delegation participated seriously with a high sense of responsibility at the plenary sessions.group discussion, at the delegation. Also during the session, the Nghe An National Assembly Delegation organized working sessions with a number of central ministries and branches; participated in experience exchange activities with the National Assembly Delegations of the provinces to inform them about the province's socio-economic situation; recommendations and proposals from the locality and issues related to the content of the session. At the same time, the Nghe An National Assembly Delegation actively mobilized and called on sponsors to support the construction of houses for the poor and those with housing difficulties; coordinated with the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs to give gifts and bicycles to poor students who have overcome difficulties in Nghe An province...; with a total amount of nearly 37 billion VND.
