(Baonghean.vn) - Continuously in recent days, Dien Chau Traffic Police Station, under the Traffic Police Department (Nghe An Provincial Police) has discovered many cases of violations of the law on drugs, theft, and fireworks.
At 1:00 a.m. on February 1, at Km387 National Highway 1A in Quynh Thien Ward, Hoang Mai Town, working group No. 5 of Dien Chau Traffic Police Station was on duty when they discovered a Toyota pickup truck with license plate 29C-56845 acting suspiciously, so they stopped the vehicle for inspection.
The task force discovered a young man sitting in the back seat (driver's side) showing signs of suspected drug use, so they asked him to get out of the car for inspection. Upon inspection, they discovered 6 pink tubes in the front chest pocket of this young man, inside of which was a white crystalline substance suspected to be heroin. The subject stated his name was Nguyen Van Tuan (born in 1994), permanent residence in My Dam village, Thanh Minh commune, Thach Thanh district, Thanh Hoa province, and that he bought the above drugs for use.
Dien Chau Traffic Police Station has prepared an initial file and handed it over to the Investigation Police Agency of Hoang Mai Town Police to conduct an investigation according to the provisions of law.
Previously, at 1:30 p.m. on January 30, at Km418+200m, National Highway 1A in Dien Hong commune, Dien Chau district, working group No. 3 of Dien Chau Traffic Police Station was on patrol duty and received information from the public that a subject had committed property theft and was currently on the run in a THACO passenger car with license plate 37F-002.36 traveling from Nghe An to Hanoi.
At 1:45 p.m. the same day, when discovering a passenger bus with the characteristics as reported, the working group stopped and inspected the vehicle. Through checking the passengers on the vehicle, they discovered Nguyen Thi Hien (born in 2007), residing in village 5, Cam Thach commune, Cam Xuyen district, Ha Tinh province; when checking the luggage that the subject was carrying, they discovered a red plastic bag containing a pair of white leather shoes, in one shoe was 4.7 million VND.
Through the initial investigation, the subject confessed that he had stolen the money from several families along the road in Kim Lien Commune, Nam Dan District. The working group completed the initial procedures and documents and handed them over to Nam Dan District Police for further investigation. The victim was also present to express his sincere thanks to the officers and soldiers of Dien Chau Traffic Police Station.
At 3:00 a.m. on January 31, on National Highway 1A in Dien Thanh Commune, Dien Chau District, working group No. 5 of Dien Chau Traffic Police Station, while on patrol, discovered a man walking with a black plastic bag with many suspicious signs.
Through inspection and verification, the man named Nguyen Van Lieu (born in 1989), residing in Hamlet 1, Dien Phu Commune, Dien Chau District, inside the black plastic bag contained a rectangular block with foreign words printed on the outside saying it was firecrackers (weighing 1.3kg). The working group made a record and handed it over to Dien Chau District Police for investigation and handling according to regulations.
