(Baonghean.vn) - The Voi Temple relic is a large architectural work built during the Le Dynasty, with its original construction items preserved to this day.

The Voi Temple relic is located in Long Son village, Quynh Hong commune, Quynh Luu district. The temple was built during the Le dynasty and was restored and embellished during the Nguyen dynasty. The temple faces the Northeast, with Long Son mountain on the left as Thanh Long, and Tuong Son mountain on the right as Bach Ho, with Tam Thai at the back and Que Hai in the front, a place with beautiful feng shui.

The main gate of the Elephant Temple was designed in the Tam Quan style, quite massive in scale, built with bricks, lime and mortar, but now only the middle gate remains.
Despite the passage of time, the reliefs on the Nghi Mon Gate still retain their exquisite details. In the photo is an elaborate relief of a phoenix.

The majestic worshiping house is located among the cool green trees. The Elephant Temple formerly consisted of 6 buildings arranged in the style of "inner public, outer private", including the following structures: Outer gate with 2 elephant statues, Nghi Mon, Ta and Huu Vu houses, Bai Duong, 2 bridges connecting Bai Duong and the back palace.
Inside the church are large wooden pillars that are still preserved intact.

Later, it also worships the Four Holy Ladies, the Three Ly Nhat Quang, Hoang Ta Thon and the later gods Ho Phi Tu, the village chief of Dong Mon, and Mr. Nghe Long Son.

Voi Temple was granted a certificate of cultural, historical, architectural and artistic relic in 2012. Through many historical changes, natural disasters and wars, some of the structures of Voi Temple have been damaged and degraded.
