According to Mrs. L., at around 10:00 a.m. on October 11, N. had just finished eating porridge. She carried him to the hammock and rocked him to sleep. That day, she rocked him and coaxed him to sleep, but he still refused to sleep, so Mrs. L. "shook him to be quiet, but she couldn't coax him to sleep"?
The reporter asked, the camera recorded the scene of her using a pillow to hit the baby's face, hit the baby's head, and shake it vigorously, but Mrs. L. still denied: "I (I - PV) saw the baby crying so much that I did that, I didn't think about harming the baby at all. I just gave him a hug, and that pillow was used to prop up his head, I brought it outside, I didn't hit him anywhere. Because the baby is still young," Mrs. L. said.
Despite hitting the child, throughout the conversation, Ms. L. still insisted: "I love the child, but I acted like that when I was angry, but I am also a person with a conscience."
According to Mrs. L., she has no husband or children so she has been working as a maid for about 7 years. Before coming to Mr. Tai's family to work as a maid, N. was well-behaved, but because she had thrush (oral thrush - PV), she could not eat and often vomited. After that, the family asked someone to come and clean the thrush and give her medicine.
Regarding the information that Mr. Tai's family said that because Mrs. L. beat N., the child showed signs of brain swelling, she denied it and said, "When her mother took her to the doctor, she told me that she was not sick at all. That day, her husband made me write that she had brain swelling, but officially it was not."
Although she insisted that she did not hit the child, Ms. L. wanted to apologize to Mr. Tai's family through the press. "I also apologize to the family and N." Ms. L. said.
It is known that Ms. L. worked as a housekeeper for Mr. Tai's family from October 5 to October 24. During the time she took care of N., Ms. L. affirmed that Mr. Tai's family did not do anything inappropriate to her. On average, Ms. L. took care of the child from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. After the child's mother returned, she helped with cooking and laundry.
Regarding the information that Ms. L. turned off the camera many times, she denied and said, "Only once, I saw the light outside but the light inside the house was not on, so I tried to unplug it to see. I also did not know what the camera was."
It is known that Mr. Tai's family has filed a complaint with the Ben Thuy ward police accusing Ms. L. of beating N. In addition to the images extracted from the camera, Mr. Tai's family also provided a note written by Ms. L. The content of the note stated that because Ms. L. was not responsible, the child now has brain swelling and she takes full responsibility before the family and the law.

Regarding this paper, Ms. L. said, "It was that uncle (Mr. Tai - PV) who forced me to write it."Regarding the names and addresses of Ms. L. and Mr. Tai on the paper being incorrect, Ms. L. explained that she was panicking at the time and wrote it without "paying much attention".
Previously, the family of Mr. Dinh Van Tai (born in 1994, residing in block 12, Ben Thuy ward, Vinh city) sent a petition to Ben Thuy ward police accusing Ms. Dang Thi L. of beating her child D.AN (over 4 months old). After receiving information about the incident, Ben Thuy ward police reported and transferred the case to Vinh city police for handling according to their authority. Currently, the case is being verified and clarified by the Criminal Investigation Team, Vinh city police.
