This is a very special occasion to remember him, review his life, career, merits and great contributions to the country and homeland; at the same time, it is also an opportunity to continue to remind each citizen to better implement his sacred Testament.
In his vibrant, rich revolutionary life, with many sacrifices and hardships, wherever he was, whatever he did, in whatever circumstances, his homeland Nghe An was always dearly, constantly, and painfully in his heart.

According to statistics, from 1930 until before entering eternity, Uncle Ho had 9 articles, 31 letters, 10 speeches, 3 telegrams, 2 visits, 1 preface talking about his hometown Nghe An or directly talking intimately with the people and cadres of Nghe An.
Just 15 days after Uncle Ho read the Declaration of Independence, giving birth to the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, he wrote a "Letter to the comrades in the home province" with kind instructions, longing and deep longing.

Because he was busy with hundreds of tasks for the Party and the people to fight the war and build the country, Uncle Ho only had two visits to his homeland in 1957 and 1961. On June 14, 1957, when he visited his homeland for the first time, he emotionally said: "The homeland is a place of great love and affection/Those fifty years, how much love there was."
In his last letter dated July 21, 1969 to the Nghe An Party Executive Committee, Uncle Ho gave many instructions to his home province and expressed a wish for his homeland. “Nghe An is a large province with rich resources, hard-working and revolutionary people. I hope that the people and comrades of the province will strive to make Nghe An quickly become one of the most prosperous provinces in the North,” President Ho Chi Minh advised.

The Party Committee, government and people of Nghe An always consider the last letter Uncle Ho sent before passing away as a sacred Testament dedicated to the homeland and are always deeply aware of the theoretical and practical value, great significance and topicality of this important document.
