Awarded 150 million VND to build charity houses in Quynh Luu district and Hoang Mai town
(Baonghean.vn) - On January 11, the Association for Supporting Families of Martyrs of Nghe An province coordinated with Quynh Luu district and Hoang Mai town, and representatives of sponsors to organize the donation of money to build houses of gratitude for relatives of martyrs in the two localities.
Attending the ceremony, on behalf of local authorities, there were Mr. Le Truong Giang - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of Hoang Mai Town Party Committee; Le Anh Van - Vice Chairman of Hoang Mai Town People's Committee; Nguyen Van Thuong - Vice Chairman of Quynh Luu District People's Committee. On behalf ofAssociation for Supporting Families of Martyrs of Nghe An Province, with Mr. Ho Duc Thanh - Chairman of the Association, and representatives of sponsoring units.
In Quynh Luu district, the delegation presented 100 million VND to two families, including: Mr. Ho Kim Minh, a 4/4 war invalid, in hamlet 6, Quynh Lam commune, supported by Giang Son Construction Joint Stock Company, and Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Hiep, son of martyr Nguyen Ngoc Hoa, in But Ngoc hamlet, An Hoa commune, supported by Hoang Thinh Dat Joint Stock Company.

In Hoang Mai town, the delegation presented 50 million VND to build a house of gratitude for Mr. Bui Van Khanh, son of martyr Bui Tom in Mai Hung ward, Hoang Mai town.

These are the 475th - 477th houses of gratitude that the Association for Supporting Families of Martyrs of Nghe An province called for and mobilized organizations and units to support. This meaningful activity demonstrates the morality of "When drinking water, remember its source", caring for and improving the material and spiritual life of poor households, families of martyrs and people with meritorious services to the revolution to celebrate a warm traditional New Year, helping families of martyrs have solid houses, reduce difficulties and stabilize their lives.
