Presenting 26 bicycles and 330 Mid-Autumn gifts in Thanh Chuong
(Baonghean.vn) - On September 15, monks and Buddhists from Pho Mon Pagoda, Chung Linh Pagoda, Quang Duc Pagoda, and the Bright Buddhism Fund organized the Mid-Autumn Festival and gave gifts to disadvantaged children at Phong Thinh Primary School (Thanh Chuong).
Attending the event were Mr. Vo Van Tien - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, representatives of departments and branches of Thanh Chuong district; Venerable Thich Quang Bao - Head of the Provincial Cultural Committee of Nghe An Provincial Buddhist Association, along with monks and Buddhists of Pho Mon Pagoda, Quang Duc Pagoda, and Chung Linh Pagoda.

On this occasion, the delegation presented 26 bicycles to people in especially difficult circumstances and 330 Mid-Autumn gifts to children at Phong Thinh Primary School.
This is a meaningful activity to encourage children to enter the new school year with lots of joy and have a warm Mid-Autumn Festival.
