Awarding scholarships worth 110 million VND to students of Nam Dan 2 High School
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of May 28, Nam Dan 2 High School held a ceremony to summarize the 2015-2016 school year, a coming-of-age ceremony for 12th grade students and awarded scholarships from former students Prof. Dr. of Science, People's Teacher Bang Tien Long - former Deputy Minister of Education and Training and businessman Tran Tuan Loc to 82 students with difficult circumstances who have excelled in their studies.
As a special school located in the flood zone 5 south of Nam Dan district, although life is still difficult, with the attention and help of all levels, sectors, and the attention of the parents' association, the school has strived to achieve many remarkable results.

Last school year, the school had 6 teachers recognized as excellent teachers at the provincial level, 13 students achieved the title of excellent students at the provincial level, 200 students achieved the title of excellent students, with 82.2% of students being classified as having good conduct, 72.63% achieving good or excellent performance.
On this occasion, former students of the school, Professor, Doctor of Science, People's Teacher Bang Tien Long - former Deputy Minister of Education and Training and businessman Tran Tuan Loc presented 82 scholarships to students with difficult circumstances who have excelled in their studies and those who have achieved high results with a total value of 110 million VND.
Accordingly, each scholarship worth from 1 million VND to 8 million VND will be awarded by the school board based on the student's achievements and circumstances./.
