Giving gifts to Catholic students and teachers on the occasion of Christmas

(Baonghean.vn) - On the occasion of Christmas 2015, on the morning of December 21, many localities in the province organized gift giving events for religious students.

The school leaders sent their best wishes to the teachers, staff and students of the religious community for a peaceful and warm Christmas. The school organized a ceremony to give 80 gifts to 80 students and 2 gifts to 2 teachers and staff of the school who are religious people.

On this occasion, the school organized a rally to celebrate and talk about the 71st anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22, 1944 - December 22, 2015) and the 26th anniversary of the National Defense Day (December 22, 1989 - December 22, 2015).

Hung Dong Primary School (Vinh City):

On the morning of December 21, Hung Dong Primary School (Vinh City) organized an after-school activity to celebrate Christmas and give gifts to Catholic students. Hung Dong Primary School currently has 132 Catholic students, accounting for 15% of the total number of students in the school.

Giving gifts to students in special difficult circumstances.

Implementing the Party's religious policy and strengthening the solidarity between students and teachers in the whole school, on Christmas 2015, Hung Dong Primary School mobilized all teachers and students to support and give gifts to Catholic students studying at the school.

On this occasion, 132 Catholic students were given gifts, including 11 special gifts for students in especially difficult circumstances, with a total value of over 7 million VND.

Although the value of the gift is not large, it shows the care and sharing of teachers and students of the school, builds solidarity, attachment, and encourages students to overcome difficulties, study well, practice their faith in God and love their country.
