Donated hundreds of helmets to first graders in Vinh City
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of October 15, the National Traffic Safety Committee coordinated with the Nghe An Department of Education and Training to organize a ceremony to present helmets to children for the 2018-2019 school year. The ceremony was held at Hung Phuc Primary School (Vinh City). The purpose of the program is for 100% of children entering grade 1 in the 2018-2019 school year to receive helmets that meet national technical standards.
Attending the ceremony were Mr. Uong Viet Dung - Deputy Chief of Office of the National Traffic Safety Committee. On the side of Nghe An province, there was comrade Huynh Thanh Dien - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, along with representatives of leaders of a number of relevant departments, branches and sectors.

This helmet donation program with the theme "Keeping the dream alive" is that 100% of children entering grade 1 in the 2018-2019 school year nationwide will receive helmets that meet national technical standards.
This program also aims to raise people's awareness of complying with the mandatory regulation of wearing helmets that meet national technical standards for children when participating in traffic.
In Nghe An, this program will give away about 75,000 helmets to students.
Immediately after the launching ceremony, the organizing committee directly handed over helmets to 256 students of Hung Phuc Primary School (Vinh City).
