Awarding awards for achievements in investigating two murder cases in Quy Chau and Vinh City

On September 6, the People's Committee of Nghe An province and the leaders of the provincial police awarded units with achievements in investigating and clarifying two murder cases in Quy Chau district and Vinh city, which left two people dead and one injured.

Accordingly, on August 25, the Criminal Police Department received a report from the Quy Chau District Police that: at the stream bank of Hong Tien 1 village, Chau Tien commune, Quy Chau, there was a body of a man with many wounds caused by external force. After receiving the information, the leaders of the Criminal Police Department established Project 817G chaired by the Criminal Police Department in coordination with the Quy Chau District Police, Chau Tien Commune Police, and PC54 Department to quickly arrest the perpetrator.

After examining the scene, conducting an autopsy and applying synchronous professional measures, on August 28, the Investigation Committee issued an emergency arrest warrant for Lu Van Hoa (born 1984), residing in Bua Lau village, Chau Tien commune, Quy Chau, for the act of "Murder".

Just 4 days after investigating the murder case in Quy Chau, at around 0:15 a.m. on September 2, the Provincial Police Department received a report from Vinh City Police stating: At around 11:30 p.m. on September 1, on An Duong Vuong Street, Block 17, Truong Thi Ward, Vinh City, a fight broke out between two groups of young men. As a result, one person died and one person was injured.

After receiving the report, the Criminal Police Department coordinated with Vinh City Police and crime scene investigation units to verify that the deceased victim was Nguyen Quang Hau (born in 1992) and the injured victim was Le Van Dung, both residing in Son Tien Commune, Huong Son District, Ha Tinh. After nearly a day of active investigation and collection of evidence, the Criminal Police Department and Vinh City Police determined that the group of people who caused the fight that led to Hau's death were in Nghi Thai Commune, Nghi Loc.

The investigation revealed that the subjects included: Vuong Dinh Hoang; Nguyen Van Khanh; Nguyen Van Hoang and Nguyen Van Thao (born in 1992), residing in Thai Cat hamlet, Nghi Thai commune, Nghi Loc, who participated in the discussion and used sticks and bricks to beat Hau's group. Accordingly, on the evening of September 1, Nguyen Quang Hau's group and Le Van Dung's group, along with Vuong Dinh Hoang's group, were drinking beer at the WELOVE restaurant on An Duong Vuong street, Vinh city. During this time, the two groups had a conflict. After Hoang's group left the restaurant, they waited for Hau's group to come out and beat them.

Comrade Le Xuan Dai acknowledged and highly appreciated the results of the fight against crime during the past time of Nghe An Police in general and of the two investigation teams of the two murder cases in Vinh City and Quy Chau recently.
