Previously, at around 11:30 p.m. on November 26, hundreds of officers and soldiers from the Office of the Investigation Police Agency (C44) - Ministry of Public Security and Special Police Battalion 2 from many directions suddenly raided 4 apartments (numbers 001, 002, 003, 004) in Bau Cat 2 apartment building, Vuon Lan street, Tan Binh district, Ho Chi Minh City.
Here, hundreds of people are gambling online in the form of football betting, dice shaking, cockfighting... All transactions and exchanges are carried out online.
When the police force rushed in, the subjects fled in many directions but were surrounded and controlled in time. After screening, the police force worked with 132 subjects, confiscating about 80 motorbikes, many exhibits and documents related to gambling activities.
By the morning of November 27, about 70 subjects had been taken to the Investigation Police Agency - Ministry of Public Security to verify their criminal acts and expand the investigation.
