Gambling den busted near Tet, 2 guns and 59 kg of fireworks seized
After destroying a gambling ring on the eve of Lunar New Year 2019, arresting 7 gamblers and seizing 129 million VND, the authorities searched the gambler's house and discovered 59 kg of illegal fireworks and 2 guns.
On January 30, news from the Criminal Police Department, Ninh Binh Provincial Police said that this agency had just broken up a gambling ring in Yen Khanh district (Ninh Binh province), arresting 7 gamblers who were gambling for money and many related exhibits.

Continuing to search Pham Tien Luc's house, the police discovered and seized 59 kgfireworks of various types, an air gun, and an electric gun. Initially, the gamblers confessed that because they knew Luc before, they invited each other to his house to play poker for money.

As for the illegal fireworks seized by police at his home, Pham Tien Luc said he bought them from an unknown person for more than 18 million VND to use during the 2019 Lunar New Year.
Currently, the case is being investigated and clarified by the Criminal Police Department of Ninh Binh Provincial Police.
