Busting a large casino disguised as a pig slaughterhouse
A casino disguised as a pig slaughterhouse that has existed for many months has been destroyed by Tay Ninh police, arresting 32 people.
On October 3, the Investigation Police Agency of Tan Bien District, Tay Ninh Province detained 16 people for large-scale gambling at a pig slaughterhouse in Go Da Hamlet, Mo Cong Commune, Tan Bien District.

Previously, at 12:15 on October 2, Tan Bien District Police coordinated with the Mobile Police Department of Tay Ninh Province Police to catch 32 subjects red-handed gambling in the form of playing cards for money on a large scale, led by Nguyen Thi Thu Thao (40 years old, residing in Thanh Tan Hamlet, Mo Cong Commune).
At the scene, the police arrested 32 subjects, seized more than 170 million VND, 27 motorbikes, 22 mobile phones, and many other related exhibits.
Through the investigation, the subjects confessed: This gambling den has been operating for several months now and is organized in the premises of a pig slaughterhouse. Every day at about 2:00 p.m., gamblers (mainly locals) who work as pork traders come to play.
While waiting for the slaughterhouse to cut the pig, the subjects gambled. At the time of arrest, Thao was the dealer, Huynh Thi My Chau (50 years old, residing in Hamlet 1, Mo Cong Commune) collected the money and bought the cards.
On the same day, Tan Bien District People's Committee awarded 5 million VND to the Mobile Police Department of Tay Ninh Provincial Police and 2 million VND to professional units of Tan Bien District Police.
