Raiding gambling dens of dozens of key criminals in Nghe An

After a period of monitoring, in the early morning of January 7, the Task Force broke into the private home of Pham Viet Hung (born in 1983, residing in Doi Cung ward, Vinh city) and caught the group of people red-handed gambling on dice.

At the scene, 31 subjects were arrested, 250 million VND, 30 cell phones, 2 cars, 1 dice punching set, 1 set of dishes, 4 dice, 2 swords were seized. Most of the arrested subjects were notorious criminals, professional gamblers and had many criminal records.

In the initial investigation, the authorities determined that the gambling den was organized by the owner Vu Nhat Long (born in 1994, residing in Ben Thuy ward, Vinh city, Nghe An). Currently, Long and 6 other subjects took advantage of the loophole and recklessly jumped out the window to escape.

At the investigation agency, the arrested subjects admitted their crimes. Currently, the authorities are continuing to expand the investigation and deploy forces to capture the remaining subjects.

Authorities announced and asked the fugitives to surrender to receive leniency from the law.
