Summoned 2 male students suspected of being involved in the case of a 5-year-old child who died in an abandoned house

On the evening of June 9, a source from the People's Committee of Quynh Tam commune said that regarding the discovery of the boy's body5 years old in Quynh Tam commune in an abandoned house, The Investigation Police Team of Quynh Luu District Police has summoned and taken the statement of a male student in Quynh Tam Commune, 11th grade, Quynh Luu 4 High School to expand the investigation of the case. However, the identity of this male student has not been announced.

This morning (June 10), Quynh Luu District Police continued to summon another suspect, a classmate of the male student above, from Quynh Chau commune, to investigate and clarify the case.

It is known that the suspect is a student in Quynh Tam commune and was identified as the person who last saw Ho Tran Van Do before he went missing.

That same night, the People's Committee of Quynh Tam commune sent forces to support the family in burying the boy, and at the same time stabilize security and order in the locality.

As reported by baonghean.vn, on June 8, Quynh Luu District Police and Quynh Tam Commune authorities received a complaint from Mr. Ho Van Tu (residing in Hamlet 9, Quynh Tam Commune, Quynh Luu District) stating that at around 3:00 p.m. on June 7, 2020, his son, Ho Tran Van Do (5 years old), asked his father's permission to go to a neighbor's house to play.

By evening, not seeing their son return, having a premonition that something bad had happened, Mr. Tu's family went everywhere to search but still had no news of their son.

The information "when leaving home, baby Do wore a red shirt and yellow pants" was shared on social networks to ask people to find his whereabouts.

The authorities and people searched in many directions but had no results. Through initial investigation, the authorities determined that before going missing, Do went out with an 11th grade male student - a neighbor of the family.

Based on this information, on the evening of June 9, Do was found dead in an abandoned house in a mountainous area bordering Yen Thanh district, Nghe An, nearly 10 km from home, with his hands tied.

Authorities are continuing to investigate the cause of the incident.
