Coach Park Hang-seo's language assistant withdrew from the Vietnam team because he revealed 'deep palace secrets'?

After the 2018 Asian Games, assistant Le Huy Khoa continuously released books about coach Park Hang-seo and behind-the-scenes stories of the U23 and Olympic Vietnam teams. Recently, the principal of Katana Korean Language Schoolalso revealed the personnel plan for AFF Cup 2018 of coach Park Hang-seo. Specifically, the Korean coach will call up to 45 players - a record number, to screen for AFF Cup.

This caused him to receive a lot of criticism from a group of fans, who said that Mr. Khoa talked too deeply about his expertise and revealed many "deep secrets" of the team that he should not have been allowed to speak about as an assistant. In response, assistant Le Huy Khoa said that he would not accompany the Vietnamese team in the near future.

"The gossip in football is too cruel. There are stories about the team that fans really want to know because they love the team, love coach Park and each player. They need to know information that has nothing to hide, to understand, to share and to strengthen their faith in the team and in Vietnamese football. They don't know who to ask, but they know that I am close to coach Park, understand his ideas to convey to the whole team, so when I introduce a book about him, they ask, I present according to what I know and according to my personal point of view, not representing or doing the work for anyone," Mr. Khoa explained.

Regarding assistant Le Huy Khoa's withdrawal, VFF General Secretary Le Hoai Anh said that this was Mr. Khoa's personal right because the contract between the two parties was only temporary. Whether or not VFF will continue to invite Mr. Khoa to accompany the Vietnamese team in the upcoming AFF Cup will have to wait for coach Park Hang-seo to return to Vietnam for further discussion before making a decision.
