Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission grants support for building Great Solidarity houses and livelihoods for the poor in Quy Hop district
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of June 26, the working delegation of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission led by comrade Ngoc Kim Nam - Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission, had a working session with Quy Hop district, presenting gifts to support the construction of Great Solidarity houses and livelihoods for the poor in Nam Son commune.
On this occasion, the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee awarded 50 million VND to support Ms. Luong Thi Pon's family to build a Great Solidarity House and 15 million VND to support the livelihood of Mr. Vi Van Luan's family. Both households reside in Nam Son commune, Quy Hop district.
Nam Son Commune is a locality that the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee has received sponsorship from the Implementation of Decision No. 2209/QD-UBND dated July 29, 2022 of the People's Committee of Nghe An province on assigning agencies and units to help extremely disadvantaged communes in Nghe An province.
With 393 households, 1,625 people, nearly 100% of whom are Thai ethnic people, the lives of people in Nam Son commune are facing many difficulties. Currently, the commune has 133 poor households and 119 near-poor households. However, in recent years, people in Nam Son commune have always united to build the village greener, cleaner, and more beautiful, and the material and spiritual life of the people has been constantly improved.
The working delegation of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission also shared the difficulties of the people of Nam Son commune, and at the same time acknowledged the spirit of solidarity and striving to build new rural areas and increasingly innovative villages of the local people.
