Mrs. Huong was worried, because right after returning home was the pointlandslidehas not been fixed, if it rains, it is very easy for landslides to continue, threatening the lives and property of the family. Therefore, before the recent heavy rains, the whole family had to proactively evacuate to relatives' houses. After the rain stopped, they dared to return, rearrange the furniture in the house to live.

"The village chief regularly monitors the weather and reminds people to evacuate, so the family is somewhat reassured. The rainy season is coming, so this evacuation will happen many times. The family's wish is that the State will soon have a resettlement area so that people can stabilize their lives," Ms. Huong confided.

Every time it rains, Mr. Vi Van Truyen - the head of Hoa Son village, Ta Ca commune, cannot rest assured when dozens of households in the village are still in areas at high risk of landslides. With the motto "going from house to house, checking each person", when hearing the news of rain, the young village head rushes to the temporary houses, advising people to be ready to pack up their belongings to move, to be on guard against danger because the rocks and soil can collapse at any time...

This is the regular work and responsibility of the village front committee, after being directed by the higher authorities.

"Recalling the historic flood of last year, when dozens of people were trapped in their houses, surrounded by deep, fast-flowing floodwaters... I and many young people in the village tried every way to approach and evacuate them to escape the "grim reaper". Therefore, now we have to proactively evacuate in advance, otherwise we will not be able to react in time", said Mr. Truyen.

The enthusiasm and dynamism of village chief Vi Van Truyen has helped people be more proactive in preventing natural disasters and landslides... Mr. Truyen was also a hero in last year's historic flood when he helped people escape death by a hair's breadth.

The head of Son Ha village, Mr. Mua Ba Vu, said that in the village, there are many houses precariously located on the mountainside, stream banks, especially at the landslide sites of the historic flood last year, so the village regularly propagates and reminds people to proactively leave high-risk areas to avoid loss of life and property. Rain in the highlands often appears unexpectedly, along with the rapid rise of rivers and streams, flowing rapidly... if not evacuated in advance, the consequences will be unpredictable.
