Vinh University proposes Gifu province to open a Japanese language center
(Baonghean.vn) – This is one of the issues mentioned by Vinh University leaders during the reception and working session with the delegation of Gifu province, Japan at the school on the morning of February 25.
Mr. Satoshi Horibe - Deputy Director of the Provincial Department of Industry, Labor and Trade led the delegation. Accompanying him were leaders of the Provincial Department of Foreign Affairs.
Receiving the delegation from Vinh University were Associate Professor, Dr. Ngo Dinh Phuong - Vice Principal of the school, along with leaders of faculties and lecturers of the school who had studied and done research in Japan.

Vinh University is one of 17 key universities in the country that provides multi-disciplinary and multi-field training. Currently, the school has 18 training faculties, 1 high school and 1 pedagogical practice school with more than 40,000 students, students, and trainees studying, training 35 master's majors, 50 engineering majors and bachelor's majors.
The school has more than 1,000 staff, lecturers and employees, including 670 lecturers; 65 professors, associate professors and 190 doctors; the rest have master's degrees.
Associate Professor Dr. Ngo Dinh Phuong – Vice Rector of the University welcomed the delegation from Gifu province to visit and work at Vinh University. The University has international cooperation programs with more than 40 universities abroad, including Japanese universities and JICA.

"The development orientation of Vinh University is to become a center for training and technology transfer, in which international cooperation plays an important role. Therefore, the school really wants to have a Japanese language center to teach students, especially in the field of information technology," Associate Professor, Dr. Ngo Dinh Phuong proposed.
Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Satoshi Horibe - Deputy Director of the Department of Industry, Labor and Trade of the province thanked Vinh University for the warm welcome to the delegation; and at the same time introduced the basic features of Gifu province, Japan.

Mr. Satoshi Horibe said that the delegation this time came to Nghe An to survey the province's investment environment, with a strong focus on human resources. After listening to the introduction, he highly appreciated the training environment at Vinh University and hoped for cooperation between the university, Gifu province's businesses and Vinh University.
Regarding the cooperation issues between Vinh University and Gifu province, focusing on the proposal to open a Japanese language training center, he will summarize and report to the leaders of Gifu province and the province's functional agencies; thereby forming and promoting cooperation programs between Gifu and Nghe An provinces in general and Vinh University in particular with the premise of today's working session.
