Vinh Medical University received the emulation flag from the Government.
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of February 27, Vinh Medical University held a ceremony to celebrate the 61st anniversary of Vietnamese Doctors' Day (February 27, 1955 - February 27, 2016).
Attending the event were comrade Le Minh Thong - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and representatives of leaders of departments, branches and sectors.

At the ceremony, delegates reviewed the glorious tradition of the medical profession through historical periods, especially since implementing Uncle Ho's teaching "A good doctor is like a mother" in Uncle Ho's letter to the Conference of medical staff on February 27, 1955.

Over the years, Vinh Medical University has united, strived, and achieved remarkable results. The school currently trains 16 majors, the training scale is increasing, enrolling 1,800-2,000 full-time students every year, the flow is approximately 5,500-6,000. The graduation rate is 65%.
