Successfully captured the subject who stole money and then escaped.

On October 3, Tan Ky District Police said they were completing the case file to prosecute Nguyen Xuan Giang (born 2001), residing in Tan Lap hamlet, Tan Hop commune, Tan Ky district, in accordance with the law.

According to the records, on the afternoon of May 14, Giang invited Truong Dinh Cong (born 2005), residing in Yen Hoa hamlet, Tan Hop commune, to break into a local grocery store to steal money. After observing that the homeowner was away, Giang used an iron cleaver to pry open the door latch.

However, because the safe was too sturdy, after a while of searching, the two subjects only took 3.2 million VND in cash. When they returned, they used the money for personal expenses. After returning and discovering signs of theft, the homeowner called the police.

Upon receiving the report, Tan Ky District Police stepped in to verify, investigate and clarify the case. Using professional measures, the District Police quickly identified the perpetrators of the theft as Nguyen Xuan Giang and Truong Dinh Cong.

However, Giang fled the area. After a period of investigation and pursuit without results, Tan Ky District Police issued a wanted notice for Nguyen Xuan Giang.

On September 19, detectives from the Tan Ky District General Investigation Team coordinated with the wanted team of the Criminal Police Department (PC 02) of Nghe An Provincial Police to accurately identify the subject who fled to Dak Nong Province after leaving the locality.

On September 22, a task force set out to capture the subject. After several days of persistent searching and verification, on September 26, Giang was discovered hiding in Kien Duc Town, Dak Rlap District, Dak Nong Province. The task force coordinated with local police forces to successfully arrest the subject.

Currently, Tan Ky District Police are completing the file to handle Nguyen Xuan Giang according to the provisions of law.
