Live broadcast of surgical demonstration of urinary diseases
(Baonghean.vn) - From August 11-13, in Vinh City, Nghe An, the 10th Scientific Conference of the Vietnam Nephrology and Urology Association took place.
This is an annual activity organized by the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Urology and Nephrology Association (VUNA), bringing together leading scientists nationwide and international experts in the field of Nephrology and Urology.
The conference is held to update new advances and provide continuous training for doctors and nurses in the diagnosis and treatment of urological diseases, nephrology, dialysis, andrology and kidney transplantation.

Within the framework of the Conference program, on August 11, official pre-conference activities took place, including demonstration surgeries, nephrology training at Nghe An General Hospital, nursing training at Military Hospital 4 and andrology training at Vinh Medical University.
At Nghe An General Hospital, delegates attending the Conference were able to watch the demonstration surgery via live images transmitted from the operating room to the Great Hall on 3 patient cases using the laser vaporization method; endoscopic surgery to remove stones in the upper third of the left ureter with a modern 4K system; and the method of percutaneous nephrolithotomy using a small laser tunnel. Associate Professor, Dr. Vu Le Chuyen (President of the Vietnam Urology - Nephrology Association), Associate Professor, Dr. Hoang Long, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Tuan Vinh, in collaboration with doctors from Nghe An General Hospital, directly participated in the demonstration surgery and provided training instructions.
Also in the morning, advanced techniques of lithotripsy were demonstrated at Military Hospital 4.
During August 12-13, the Conference will officially begin its thematic reporting activities at Muong Thanh Phuong Dong Hotel.
