(Baonghean.vn) - This is the direction of comrade Nguyen Xuan Duong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee during his visit to economic models and new rural construction movements in Tam Quang commune, Tuong Duong district on the morning of November 17.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Xuan Duong visited Tung Huong village, Tam Quang commune, Tuong Duong district.

Tung Huong village is one of the remote villages in the border area. Here, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and the working delegation had a meeting with the people in the commune. "I am very happy that the village has improved a lot. Concrete roads have reached all the alleys. Tuong Duong district currently has only 2 new rural communes and the third commune with a policy of construction is Tam Quang" - the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee said and requested the people of Tung Huong village in particular and Tam Quang commune in general to join hands and unite. The government system must be public and democratic with the policy of "people know, people discuss, people decide".

At Tung Huong village, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee visited and presented gifts to mother Luong Thi Loi, 106 years old.

Comrade Nguyen Xuan Duong then presented 30 gifts to 30 poor households of ethnic minorities in Tung Huong, Lien Huong and Tan Huong villages. Also in Tung Huong village, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee visited and presented gifts to Mrs. Le Thi Loi. Mrs. Loi is 106 years old this year, has 2 children who joined the army and went missing; so far, one of her children has been confirmed as a martyr; the authorities are verifying the remaining child.

Here, comrade Nguyen Xuan Duong gave 30 gifts to 30 poor households and talked with the people of Tung Huong village.

Next, the delegation visited and worked with officers and soldiers of Tam Quang Border Guard Station. Here, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee congratulated the achievements that officers and soldiers of the station have achieved in the past time in maintaining border security, helping people in border areas build the economy... "I hope that officers and soldiers will continue to unite and work together to build a stronger unit, successfully completing all assigned tasks" - the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized.

Next, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee visited the economic model of Mr. Vi Van Thuyet's family, Bai Xa village, Tam Quang commune.

Also during the working trip, the delegation visited the economic model of Mr. Vi Van Thuyet (48 years old, Bai Xa village, Tam Quang). Mr. Thuyet is one of the typical households in the locality in escaping poverty. Currently, his family has 26 buffaloes, dozens of goats, black pigs and nearly 8 hectares of planted forest... Each year, his family earns 100-150 million VND.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also visited and encouraged the people of Bai Xa village who are building new rural roads.

Also at Bai Xa village, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee visited and encouraged the people who were building new rural concrete roads. After asking about the construction situation, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee gave gifts to encourage the people in the village.

The delegation then visited and worked with Tuong Duong 2 High School. The school has 15 classrooms with more than 440 students and a team of 43 staff and teachers. Although the school was only established in 1998, it has achieved many remarkable results and is considered a school with good teaching quality. On the occasion of Vietnamese Teachers' Day, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee congratulated all teachers of the school; at the same time, he hoped that the school would continue to fulfill its mission of educating people.

At the end of the morning, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee released fish fry in Tam Thai commune, Tuong Duong district.

At the end of the working session, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee attended the fish seed release ceremony, creating aquatic resources at Khe Bo Hydropower Reservoir. It is expected that on the afternoon of November 17, the provincial working delegation will have a working session with the leaders of Tuong Duong district to listen to and give comments on socio-economic development plans.
