Propaganda and dissemination of legal policies among ethnic minorities
(Baonghean.vn) - Implementing the 2022 Work Program, the Provincial Ethnic Committee coordinated with the People's Committee and the Ethnic Affairs Department of Ky Son district to organize a conference to propagate and disseminate policies and laws on ethnic groups in 2022.
Attending the opening ceremony of the conference were comrades: Vy My Son - Deputy Head of the Provincial Ethnic Minorities Committee; Nguyen Manh Hung - Head of the Policy Department, Nghe An Provincial Ethnic Minorities Committee; Lau Phai Tenh - Head of the Ethnic Minorities Department of Ky Son district, representatives of the Nam Can International Border Gate Border Guard Station, the District Justice Department and 56 delegates who are commune officials, Party cell secretaries, village heads, heads of mass organizations in villages, prestigious people among ethnic minority people of the 3 most remote communes of Ky Son district, namely Na Ngoi, Muong Ai and Keng Du.
During the 2-day conference (August 15-16), delegates were informed about 4 topics: Vietnam Border Guard Law, 2020 Law on Residence, Civil Status Law, Ethnic Affairs and the ethnic policy of our State in the current period.

The Party and State have identified the dissemination of law as one of the key tasks, aiming to raise awareness and sense of law observance among cadres and people, especially in theethnic minority areasand mountainous areas, especially difficult socio-economic areas such as Ky Son district. This is a very important task, which the Party and Government pay attention to and carry out with many practical policies and guidelines on ethnic affairs and ethnic policy implementation.

The conference on propaganda, dissemination and legal education for ethnic minority and mountainous people in Ky Son district in 2022 aims to effectively implement the contents and tasks of the People's Committee of Nghe An province on propaganda and dissemination of law for ethnic minority and mountainous people; help people update information, consolidate knowledge of law, create positive changes in people's awareness of self-compliance with the law; Raise awareness and sense of responsibility of society, community and ethnic minority people in implementing legal provisions./.
