After the Launching Ceremony in response to the Olympic Running Day for the health of all people, this morning, March 23, the Department of Culture and Sports organized the 2019 Nghe An Province Marathon at Lenin Avenue, Vinh City.

The Cross Country Race attracted 140 athletes from 21 districts, towns and cities in the province. The athletes competed in two categories: individual male/female under 15 years old and male/female over 16 years old; team male/female under 15 years old and male/female over 16 years old.

After 4 intense, fierce and highly professional races, the athletes reached the finish line safely. At the end of the tournament, Hoang Mai Town team won 4 first prizes and 2 second prizes, thereby ranking first overall, followed by Thanh Chuong team with 2 first prizes and 3 second prizes; third was Quynh Luu team with 1 first prize and 1 second prize.
