The Provincial People's Committee and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province signed a coordination regulation for the period 2022 - 2026.

On the afternoon of February 16, the Provincial People's Committee and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province held a conference to evaluate the Coordination Regulations for the period 2017 - 2021 and sign the Coordination Regulations for the period 2022 - 2026.

At the meeting, the two agencies assessed the results of implementing the Coordination Regulations for the 2017-2021 period in aspects such as: Election of deputies to the 15th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2021-2026 term; law making and propaganda, mobilizing the people; recommendations and responses to recommendations of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; citizen reception, handling of complaints and denunciations; social supervision and criticism activities; ethnic and religious affairs and people's foreign affairs activities;...

Accordingly, the two sides agreed to assess that, over the past 5 years, the Provincial People's Committee and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province have coordinated well to implement the contents according to the signed Regulations, including many new activities that have been jointly implemented with positive results, contributing to improving the quality and effectiveness of each side's activities, especially in propagating and mobilizing people to implement the policies and laws of the State and the province; implementing hunger eradication and poverty reduction, relief work, social security work...

The direction and urging of the specialized agencies of the Provincial People's Committee to resolve the petitions of voters and the Front have many innovations and are more drastic in the direction of gradually shifting from "explaining and explaining" to "solving", basically meeting the requirements, creating trust among the people of all walks of life, contributing to building a strong government.

Speaking at the meeting, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province Vo Thi Minh Sinh acknowledged that the coordination between the two units is increasingly close and regular. In particular, the leaders of the Provincial People's Committee always urge, inspect, remind and accompany not only the Front organizations but also socio-political organizations.

CONTINUE INNOVATION TO IMPROVE THE EFFECTIVENESS OF IMPLEMENTING THE REGULATIONS

Speaking at the meeting, Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Duc Trung assessed that the implementation of the Coordination Regulations between the Provincial People's Committee and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province is very important, contributing greatly to the implementation of socio-economic development tasks; ensuring national defense and security; building the Party and the political system in the province; contributing to creating stability and consensus among the people.

On behalf of the Provincial People's Committee, Comrade Nguyen Duc Trung respectfully acknowledged and thanked the efforts and contributions of the Fatherland Front at all levels in the province in implementing the regulations.

Analyzing the context and situation in the coming time, especially the impact of many unforeseen objective factors, such as the Covid-19 pandemic, while the requirements for implementing the province's goals and tasks are very high, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized that the implementation process must always have adjustments, methods and effective implementation methods.

On that basis, the head of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized that the two sides need to focus on immediately overcoming shortcomings and limitations through the assessment of the implementation of the Coordination Regulations for the period 2017 - 2021; at the same time, it is necessary to continue to coordinate more closely in propaganda work, mobilizing all classes of people to participate in and support the work of disease and natural disaster prevention and control; promoting the emulation movement in production, business, start-up, and innovation.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also requested the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee to continue to pay attention to coordination, strengthen connections, and share information, especially applying information technology in receiving, processing, and classifying feedback and recommendations from people and voters.

Regarding this content, comrade Nguyen Duc Trung agreed that the approach is to build a database system that is both horizontal and vertical, aiming to maximally handle and specifically respond to the reflections and recommendations of people and voters; at the same time, this is also a channel to grasp the situation of public opinion.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also requested the Provincial Fatherland Front to continue to carry out the work of social supervision and criticism, especially considering and selecting a number of areas or places with public opinion to focus on supervising the cultivation and training of lifestyle and ethics of leaders and key officials; at the same time, continue to screen and select content to contribute comments to participate in drafting documents, especially documents that have an impact and influence on the people; participate in administrative reform; continue to carry out propaganda work to go into more depth...
