Ukraine admits possibility of failure without US support?
Ukrainian President Zelensky said in an interview with Fox News that without help from the United States, Kiev would lose.

According to RIA Novosti on November 20, in an interview with Fox News, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that the US's suspension of military support for Kiev would lead to Ukraine's defeat.
“If the aid stops, I think we will lose,” President Zelensky said, responding to a question from Fox News about what would happen if the US stopped or reduced military funding for Ukraine.
According to Mr. Zelensky, there is currently a “very difficult phase” in the Ukrainian conflict. He believes that it would be dangerous if there were no unity among European countries on the Ukrainian issue. “And the most important thing: the solidarity between the United States and Ukraine,” President Zelensky stressed.
The Ukrainian leader believes that President-elect Donald Trump can achieve the goal of ending the conflict and that overall, the issue “depends more on the US” than on Russia.
Mr. Zelensky believes that President-elect Trump will not easily influence the Russian leadership, but “if he uses everything that the US has, he can do it.”
President Zelensky also mentioned the enormous influence of the United States and the “huge amount of money” that the United States could use.
Mr. Zelensky praised Washington before President-elect Trump's official inauguration, in a conversation with a television channel known as "pro-Republican". Fox News host Peter Hegseth was recently nominated by President-elect Trump to the position of US Secretary of Defense.
In a related development, the Washington Post reported that President Joe Biden has authorized the provision of anti-personnel mines to Ukraine. According to the Post, the White House sees this move as an effort to stop the advance of Russian forces.
Ukrainian authorities have promised not to use landmines in populated areas, but weapons experts have warned that the weapons pose a threat to civilians.
