The Provincial Fatherland Front Committee received 5,000 gifts to support people affected by the Covid-19 epidemic.
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of August 25, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province organized a reception to receive gifts to support people affected by the Covid-19 epidemic from Want Want Vietnam Trading Company Limited. Attending were comrade Vo Thi Minh Sinh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province.

At the ceremony, the Company presented 553 boxes of cakes and 165 boxes of candies divided into 5,000 gifts with a total value of more than 362 million VND to people facing difficulties due to the Covid-19 epidemic. This is the Company's second gift-giving period in Nghe An province (the first period presented 2,400 gifts including cakes and candies to people, worth 270 million VND).
Also at the ceremony, the Reception Committee received 25 kg of rice from the family of war invalid Le Van Nam in block 8, Truong Thi ward (Vinh city). It is known that this is also the second time Mr. Nam's family has supported rice for people to overcome the pandemic (in the first phase, Mr. Nam's family supported 50 kg of rice).

Receiving the support, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province Vo Thi Minh Sinh thanked the Company and Mr. Le Van Nam personally for their timely attention, sharing and always accompanying the people of Nghe An province to join hands in preventing and fighting the Covid-19 epidemic. Regarding the received gifts, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee will soon deliver them to the right purpose, the right recipients and all quarantine points in a timely manner...

Responding to the call for the entire population to participate in supporting and preventing the Covid-19 epidemic of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, in the first phase, organizations, businesses and individuals in Nghe An province donated money, materials and equipment worth an estimated more than 75 billion VND... In the second phase from the beginning of July until now, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee has received more than 30 tons of rice./.
