Chinese man fined 15 million VND for illegal trading in Nghe An
(Baonghean.vn) - Mr. Wang Xian You entered Nghe An with a tourist passport but stayed in Nghia Loc commune (Nghia Dan), connecting with a group of people to organize the purchase of so-called fruit to ship to China.
Mr. Wang Xian You (born in 1972, Chinese nationality), temporarily residing in Nghia Loc commune, Nghia Dan district. At the end of 2018, Mr. Wang Xian You entered Vietnam as a tourist but then stayed in Nghia Loc commune and, together with a number of others, purchased so-called "sapong" fruits to bring to China. At the time of discovery, Mr. Wang Xian You had purchased about 20 tons of so-called "sapong" fruits and dried them.
Mr. Wang Xian You's behavior violates the provisions of Point b, Clause 5, Article 17, Decree No. 167/2013/ND-CP of the Government of Vietnam on "Foreigners entering, practicing or having other activities in Vietnam without permission from competent authorities of Vietnam".
Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Minh Thong has just signed Decision No. 5535/QD-UBND to administratively fine this Chinese person 15 million VND for violating Decree 167/2013/ND-CP.
