This is one of the programs initiated by the Institute of Organic Agricultural Economics, the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance in collaboration with a number of businesses.
Accordingly, Mr. Le Thanh, Director of the Institute of Organic Agricultural Economics, said that the program named Green Startup in Vietnam was organized to respond to the national startup program launched by the Government.
"The scope of this program is aimed at rural areas to facilitate the transfer of technology, knowledge, and capital to rural areas. In particular, this is a meaningful program to bring workers who are no longer in good health to work in urban areas back to their hometowns to start a business. We will support capital, agricultural materials, machinery, and create outlets for their products," said Mr. Thanh.
In addition to workers, rural youth and university graduates who have business ideas but lack capital can all access this support package.
"For young entrepreneurs, initial investment capital is very important. However, along with capital, young people just entering the production and business path still need help with many things such as knowledge, determination, and the courage to overcome challenges and difficulties...
Therefore, in addition to supporting preferential credit loans, the program also provides training to help young startups improve their production and management capacity, and cooperate and exchange experts at home and abroad...", said Mr. Le Thanh.
