Trong khi đó, Liên đoàn Bóng đá Việt Nam đã thưởng 2 tỷ đồng cho đội tuyển nữ Việt Nam khi đánh bại Myanmar để giành Huy chương Vàng. VFF thưởng 1,6 tỷ đồng cho thầy trò huấn luyện viên Mai Đức Chung ở các trận đấu thuộc vòng bảng. Tổng cộng VFF thưởng 3,6 tỷ đồng cho tuyển nữ Việt Nam.

Ban giải quyết khiếu nại VFF quyết định giữ nguyên án phạt 40 triệu đồng và cấm thi đấu 8 trận với cầu thủ Nguyễn Văn Quyết của Câu lạc bộ Hà Nội.
