VFF has transferred 2.7 billion VND in bonus to the women's team.

The national women's football team received 2.7 billion VND in bonus from the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) yesterday, October 14.

With the excellent achievement of winning the SEA Games 29 gold medal, the women's team was promised a reward of 3 billion VND by the VFF. In the past few days, there has been information that the VFF is slow to disburse this amount (actually 2.7 billion VND due to 10% tax deduction). Sharing with Thanh Nien, the VFF leader affirmed: "This is a large amount of money so we need to proceed according to the correct financial procedures and principles. However, on October 14, all members were fully transferred."

With the 29th SEA Games gold medal, the Vietnamese women's team was promised a bonus of 3 billion VND by the VFF.

Thus, after tax deduction, coach Mai Duc Chung received 90 million VND (he was deducted 25% tax) and 11 players each received about more than 100 million VND (because only 10% tax was deducted). The team's main doctor Pham Thi Thuy, along with assistants and reserve players such as Nguyen Thi Van, Kim Thanh... received about more than 70 million VND/person (after tax deduction). Type C including doctor Tran Luong Ngoc and players who did not play a minute received about 50 million VND/person.

In addition, the team also received an additional 1 billion VND, including 600 million VND in personal bonus from Mr. Dao Hong Tuyen - Chairman of Tuan Chau Group; 10,000 USD from Mr. Pham Thanh Hung - Chairman of Than Quang Ninh Club; 80 million VND from the sponsor of the Vietnamese sports delegation.

Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc awarded each player 3 million VND. Coach Mai Duc Chung was awarded 100 million VND and he gave back 50 million VND to the team. Thus, each member received an average of 20 - 60 million VND/person.

Each female player also received 45 million VND in state bonuses. But coach Mai Duc Chung only received 27 million VND because according to Decision No. 32/2011/QD-TTg on some policies for coaches and athletes in training and competition, the direct coach receives 60% and the remaining 40% is divided among the grassroots coaches. Hanoi players were awarded an additional 54 million VND/person according to the newly revised bonus level of Hanoi People's Committee. Meanwhile, Ho Chi Minh City players, in addition to receiving an additional 52 million VND/person, also received 5 million VND/month from the City People's Committee for a period of 2 years (until the 30th SEA Games).

The 20 players will also receive a bonus of 20 million VND each and a Samsung TV. Each player will contribute 8 million VND to buy TVs for the 9 coaching staff members. These TVs will be sent directly to the players' homes.
