Reliable sources confirm that the new contract will be finalized during the time Coach Park leads U22 Vietnam in the UAE. Accordingly, it is almost certain that the Korean strategist will be associated with Vietnamese football for another year.
And Mr. Park's immediate goal is to help the Vietnamese team successfully defend the AFF Cup 2020 title, followed by the Gold Medal at the 31st SEA Games at the end of next year.
The Vietnamese team has now returned home after leaving Oman. The players will be quarantined in accordance with regulations and will return to the team on October 25 to prepare for the two home matches against Japan (November 11) and Saudi Arabia (November 16).
VPF proposes 3 possibilities for organizing V.League 2022
On the afternoon of October 15, Vietnam Professional Football Joint Stock Company (VPF) held an online meeting with 27 clubs in V.League 1 and V.League 2 to present plans for organizing the 2022 season.
According to VPF's calculations, option 1 is to divide the teams into groups in the second phase after the first leg. Thus, the teams will play a maximum of 20 rounds. The expected time to organize V.League 1 is from February 19, 2022 to October 16, 2022. Phase 1 will end on August 6, 2022.
Option 2 is that both leagues will play home and away matches, a total of 181 matches. This option has two possibilities for the time of organization. The first possibility is V.League 1 with 26 rounds, starting from February 17, 2022 to November 5, 2022. V.League 2 starts from February 18, 2022 to November 4, 2022. The second possibility is V.League 1 with 26 rounds, from February 12, 2022 to October 22, 2022. V.League 2 starts from February 13, 2022 to October 21, 2022.

The 2022 National Cup and the promotion and relegation matches will take place during this period. These matches will take place in the same month after the National Championship ends according to each plan.
VPF calculates the plan based on the competition schedules of clubs and national teams in Southeast Asian and Asian tournaments, including AFF Cup 2022, FIFA Days, SEA Games 2021, ASIAD 2022, AFC Champions League, AFC U23 Championship 2022 and AFC Cup 2022.
The advantage of playing 20 rounds is that the competition density of the club is reasonable with about 4 days/match, there is a reserve time fund, the attractiveness of the tournament. The disadvantage is that the number of matches is only 134 compared to 181 in option 2.
The advantage of the 26-round competition plan of V.League 1 is that the number of matches increases, the number of home and away matches for each team is equal. The disadvantage is that the time is long, there is not enough time if there is an incident, the travel time is limited, and the attractiveness is lower than plan 1.
After presenting the plans to the clubs, VPF will present them to the VFF Executive Committee for their opinions. A VPF leader said that VFF will decide on the organization plan for the 2022 season.
MU made a mistake in increasing Paul Pogba's salary
According to former midfielder Paul Ince, MU's sky-high salary increase to keep Paul Pogba shows how desperate they are.
Daily Mail said the Red Devils are ready to increase Paul Pogba's salary from 290,000 pounds/week to 400,000 pounds/week, in negotiations to sign a new contract when the current deal expires at the end of the season.
Paul Ince believes Pogba is not worth that amount of money: “It is a sign of desperation from MU to make such an offer. That salary is too high for a player whose performance is inconsistent.

Paul Ince believes Pogba does not deserve the huge salary of 400,000 pounds/week. |
When you pay that much money for a player, he has to play every game but I don't see Paul Pogba being able to do that.
Where is Pogba's ideal position in the United squad? We easily know that with Bruno Fernandes, but not with Paul Pogba.
Pogba has improved since the start of the season, his assist record is fantastic. But I look at it and think: 'What would make United offer Pogba £400,000 a week now?'
Young French star sought after by MU increases in price every day
Midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni is a name that is receiving a lot of attention after his success with the French team at the recent Nations League.
In fact, in the past 2 years, Tchouameni's price has skyrocketed. In December 2019, the 21-year-old midfielder was valued at 14 million euros by Transfermarkt. This number has steadily increased over time before reaching the current 35 million euros mark.
However, Monaco have recently stressed that they will not sell Tchouameni for less than €60 million - a hefty fee. Tchouameni signed his first professional contract with Bordeaux in November 2017, making his first-team debut in 2018 under coach Gus Poyet.

After suffering injuries and struggling to gain the trust of Poyet’s successor, Eric Bedouet, Tchouameni was moved into central midfield under Paulo Sousa in 2019/20. The 21-year-old flourished from there, scoring once and providing three assists, before joining Monaco in January 2020 for €18 million.
Currently, Tchouameni is being sought after by Man United, Real Madrid and many other clubs in Europe. He was just introduced to the French national team last September, in the 2022 World Cup qualifiers in Europe.
Tchouameni was called up by coach Didier Deschamps for the recent Nations League finals. He played 15 minutes against Belgium in the semi-finals, before playing the full 90 minutes against Spain in the final.
