Van Thanh returns to training, Coach Park Hang-seo is happy as if "catching gold"

At 19:00 local time (22:00 Vietnam time) on October 2, the Vietnam National Team entered the second training session in the UAE to prepare for the match against the Chinese National Team in the third qualifying round of the 2022 World Cup in Asia.

In this training session, the most encouraging news for the Vietnam National Team was that Van Thanh returned to normal training with his teammates. The HAGL defender easily "swallowed" the training plan set out by the coaching staff.

Previously, due to injury after the collision,Van Thanhhad to leave the first training session of the Vietnam national team. Van Thanh needed the support of a doctor before being helped out of the cabin area.

He was given ice packs by physiotherapist Choi Ju Young on his lower thigh. Fortunately, the 25-year-old defender's injury is not serious.

This is clearly good news for Coach Park Hang-seo. The Korean coach can rest assured when he sees Van Thanh return to normal training on the evening of October 2.

Van Thanh is considered the best choice for the full-back role of the Vietnam national team, after Trong Hoang and Van Hau were both injured and missed Vietnam's two matches against China and Oman.

In addition to being versatile, Van Thanh has also been showing very good form recently. By practicing normally, Van Thanh shows that he is ready for the upcoming match with China.

VFF will extend the contract with coach Park Hang-seo

The contract between the Vietnam Football Federation and the Korean coach is likely to be automatically extended for another year.

"The contract extension clause is if both parties agree to extend. The term will automatically extend for another year without any further negotiation," a VFF leader told Zing on the evening of October 2.

Accordingly, the current contract between VFF and Coach Park will end on January 31, 2022 and automatically extend until January 31, 2023. The remaining terms remain the same, without any changes.

VFF President Le Khanh Hai told the press: "Of course, both sides want to continue cooperation, VFF has no reason to stop this. We strive to best meet the professional requirements of the Vietnam national team's coaching staff."

"I believe that with the goodwill ofCoach Park Hang-seo, he also wants to stick with Vietnamese football more," Mr. Khanh Hai emphasized the views of both sides to be able to reach a common agreement.

The head of VFF did not reveal whether he had given the green light to Mr. Park's representative. However, according to Zing's investigation, the VFF representative is waiting for confirmation from Coach Park's management company.

"After we confirm with Mr. Park's representative, we will decide on a specific time to extend the contract," a VFF official confirmed to Zing. That means VFF has agreed to extend.

Coach Park's representative company has not yet made an official announcement. Mr. Lee Dong-jun - Director of the coach's management company, born in 1957, will soon come to Vietnam to work on this issue in the near future.

The press predicts that the most suitable time for the two sides to sit down is after Coach Park Hang-seo completes the 2022 World Cup third qualifying round matches against China (October 8) and Oman (October 13). After that, he will go to Kyrgyzstan to participate in the Asian U22 qualifiers before returning to Hanoi.

Losing to Atletico Madrid, Barca dropped to 10th place in the rankings
