While eating, the customer showed unusual behavior and signaled to Mr. Lam to borrow his phone. Mr. Lam refused, so the subject quickly grabbed the scissors the restaurant owner left on the table and stabbed the restaurant owner, but Mr. Lam was able to run away and called for help from everyone around.
Hearing Mr. Lam's voice, dozens of people around grabbed bricks, stones, and iron pipes and chased after him. The strange customer ran out of the shop, grabbed a pair of scissors and ran towards Vinh, injuring three young men who were chasing him: Nguyen Ba Thanh (born in 1979), Nguyen Duy Dang (born in 1966) and Nguyen Van Hien (born in 1971), all residing in Tan Tien block, Quynh Thien ward.
