Honoring 28 outstanding works at the 15th Nghe An Press Awards

On the morning of June 18, Nghe An province held a ceremony to celebrate the 95th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day and award the 15th Nghe An Press Award, 2019.

Attending the ceremony were comrades: Thai Thanh Quy - Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Xuan Son - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Nguyen Duc Trung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee. Comrades of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee: Cao Thi Hien - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Nguyen Thi Thu Huong - Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department; Hoang Nghia Hieu - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Nguyen Nam Dinh - Secretary of the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies. Also attending were comrade Le Ba Hung - Director of the Department of Information and Communications; Tran Duy Ngoan - Chairman of the Provincial Journalists Association, leaders of provincial departments, branches and sectors, and representatives of press agencies, reporters and journalists in the province.

The 15th Nghe An Press Award had the participation of 20 press units with a total of over 100 works participating in the award.

These are all works that closely follow the political tasks of the province, sectors and localities in 2019, promptly, vividly and diversely reflecting the economic, political, security and defense situation of the province and the country.

The organizing committee of Nghe An Press Awards has selected 28 outstanding works to win prizes, including 5 Second prizes, 10 Third prizes and 13 Consolation prizes. The 15th Nghe An Provincial Press Awards did not have a First prize. Of which, Nghe An Newspaper won 11/28 prizes, including 3 Second prizes; 5 Third prizes, 3 Consolation prizes.
