During the past term, the Tan Son Commune Party Committee focused on leadership and direction to create breakthroughs in many areas and achieved quite comprehensive results; the economic growth rate was fast, shifting in the right direction, and was sustainable. The total production value of the commune in 2020 is estimated at 370 billion VND, an increase of 163 billion VND and 1.86 times compared to 2015.

The average economic growth in 5 years is 10%; the average income per unit area in 2020 is estimated at 110 million VND/ha, an increase of 15 million VND/ha compared to 2015. The average income per capita is estimated at 42 million VND, an increase of nearly 1.8 times compared to 2015; the poverty rate decreased from 17.64% to 1.06% by the end of 2019. The rate of households using clean water is 98%; the average commune budget revenue in 5 years is 12%.

The Party Committee and the government of Tan Son commune have also paid attention to and directed investment in the cultural and social fields, achieving many impressive results. The whole commune has 10/10 villages achieving the title of "Cultural Residential Area", with 2,045/2,176 households achieving the title of "Cultural Family", higher than the district average of 6%. In the past 5 years, 17 new classrooms, practice rooms, and functional rooms have been built and completed in the direction of standardization and modernization, with a total value of more than 10 billion VND.

After achieving the new rural standards (NTM) in 2016, the Party Committee continued to direct the improvement of the quality of the criteria. Thanks to that, up to now, the low-achievement criteria such as transportation, irrigation, and cultural facilities have increased by 4-20% compared to the beginning of the term. The commune has built 6 model NTM villages by the end of 2020 to replicate widely. The total investment for NTM construction during the term is nearly 17.5 billion VND. In addition, people have invested in building hundreds of solid houses worth about 60 billion VND.

In the 2015-2020 term, Tan Son Commune Party Committee had 48 clean and strong Party cells. National defense and security were maintained.

In the 2020-2025 term, the Tan Son Commune Party Committee continues to set the goal of building Tan Son to achieve advanced NTM by 2022 and be in the "top" 6 of the district. The main targets set by the Party Committee are: Average economic growth rate for 5 years from 11 - 12%, total production value reaching 625 - 655 billion VND; average income per capita by 2025 reaching 75 - 80 million VND; food output reaching 4,400 tons; average annual budget revenue increase of 13%; poverty rate reduced to below 0.7%.

Speaking at the congress, Chairman of the District People's Committee Hoang Van Bo praised the important achievements that the Party Committee and people of Tan Son commune have achieved in the past term, and at the same time, emphasized a number of tasks to achieve the goals set by the Party Committee of the commune for the term 2020 - 2025: Well implementing the arrangement of a streamlined apparatus, operating effectively in the spirit of Resolution 6 of the 12th Central Committee; continuing to implement broad and substantive democracy in Party activities; well implementing the mechanism of responsibility to set an example for cadres and party members, especially the heads of organizations before the people; closely coordinating between the inspection and supervision of the People's Council, the Fatherland Front and the people to ensure each target, task, and solution for effective supervision; reviewing and clearly identifying the distinct advantages of the locality to have specific solutions to accelerate economic development, create new breakthroughs, and improve the material life of the people; Better exploit and use resources to accelerate construction and completion of infrastructure; prioritize investment resources to complete the goal of building a commune that meets advanced new-style rural standards by 2022.

In addition, it is necessary to continue to carry out information and propaganda work well, promote the movement "All people unite to build a cultural life in residential areas"; carry out social security work well, and reduce poverty sustainably. Along with socio-economic development, Comrade Hoang Van Bo requested Tan Son Party Committee to focus on carrying out local defense and military work well, improve the quality of militia and self-defense forces; promote the role of cadres, party members, and prestigious people to grasp and handle problems arising right at the grassroots level.

The Congress elected 13 comrades to the Party Committee of Tan Son commune for the 2020-2025 term. Comrade Dau Phi Chau - Chairman of the People's Committee of the commune was elected to hold the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of the commune for the 12th term.
