Passenger bus transports 1,000 smuggled watches on the way to the South
(Baonghean.vn) - While inspecting traffic on National Highway 1A, the working group of Dien Chau Traffic Police Station (PC67 CANA) discovered a passenger bus transporting 1,000 watches and 1,000 batteries to the South without invoices or documents.
Accordingly, at 1:00 a.m. on July 5, the Traffic Police Department of Dien Chau Traffic Police Station, while conducting traffic inspection at km 412 of National Highway 1A in Dien Truong Commune, Dien Chau District, discovered a passenger bus with license plate 29B - 067.21 with many suspicious signs, so they signaled to stop for inspection.

Upon inspection of the passenger cabin, the task force discovered 20 cardboard boxes containing 1,000 foreign-made NI BU SI 1985 and NI 2321 watches along with 1,000 TE CELL batteries.
Driver Luu Quoc Dung (born in 1985), residing in Chau Doc, Ba Ria, Vung Tau, could not present invoices and documents related to the above goods, so the working group made a record to temporarily detain the goods and hand them over to the authorities for handling.
