Truck plunges downhill, driver narrowly escapes death

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of December 14, at Truong Ven slope in Dien Lam commune (Dien Chau), a traffic accident occurred, causing a truck to lose control and fall off the slope into a local acacia plantation. The driver miraculously escaped death.

According to local residents, at around 6am this morning, a truck with license plate 37C 045.28 was traveling on Highway 48 through Truong Ven slope when it lost control, causing the vehicle to slide more than 15m and flip twice before falling into a local acacia field.

At the time of the accident, there was a main driver and a bus assistant from Nghia Dan.

The car was almost completely damaged.

Fortunately, there were no casualties. The driver was said to have had a miraculous escape, while the busboy suffered minor injuries.

The initial cause was determined to be due to the slippery road, causing the driver to lose control of the situation. This is a road where accidents often occur due to its many dangerous curves.

Rescue work is urgently deployed.

The car is currently being lifted off the road. Authorities are on the scene to deal with the incident.
