Truck brakes 'burn' tire when hitting car

(Baonghean.vn) - While driving, a 4-seater car suddenly turned into another lane and was hit by a truck going in the same direction. The driver escaped death.

The accident occurred on National Highway 1A in Hamlet 17, Dien Yen Commune, Dien Chau District at nearly 9:00 a.m. on April 6.

The 4-seat car with license plate 37S - 9669 was traveling in the direction of Vinh - Hanoi when it suddenly turned onto the road in front of Yen Ly station.

Images from the scene show that the truck had to brake suddenly, causing the wheels to rub against the road, creating a long streak. However, due to the high speed and suddenness of the situation, the truck driver was unable to avoid the car.

The strong collision caused the 4-seater car's door to be crushed and the front end to be ripped off, the front axle to break and the wheel to fly off the car. Luckily the driver was not injured.

The accident caused traffic congestion on the road. Dien Chau District Traffic Police promptly arrived to regulate traffic and clarify the cause of the incident.
