Review and approve Resolutions on organization and personnel

The 32nd session of the 14th National Assembly Standing Committee took place over 3 days (from March 11 to 13, 2019) at the Tan Trao meeting room, National Assembly House, Hanoi.

According to the scheduled program, National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan attended and delivered the opening speech of the meeting and together with the Vice Chairwomen of the National Assembly took turns chairing the meeting's contents.

At this session, the National Assembly Standing Committee gave opinions on five draft laws, including: Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the State Audit Law; Law on Militia and Self-Defense Forces (amended); Law on Architecture; Law on Libraries; Law on Education (amended).

At the same time, the National Assembly Standing Committee also gave opinions on the draft Resolution of the National Assembly on handling tax debts, fines, late payment fines, and late payment fees of taxpayers who have gone bankrupt, dissolved, are no longer in business, and are no longer able to pay the State budget.

At the meeting, the National Assembly Standing Committee considered and approved the Resolution on the arrangement of district and commune-level administrative units for the 2019-2021 period; considered and decided on the establishment of My Hao town in Hung Yen province and Vinh Vien town in Long My district, Hau Giang province.

The National Assembly Standing Committee will also consider and approve a Resolution regulating positions and titles with the highest ranks of Lieutenant General and Major General, which have not been specifically regulated in the 2018 Law on People's Public Security.
