Handling the girl who spread false information about the nCoV epidemic in Nghe An
(Baonghean.vn) - Ms. B. wrote on her personal Facebook that there was a person infected with the Corona virus and was being treated at Vinh City General Hospital, causing many people to panic and worry.
On the morning of February 5, Vinh City Police said they were completing procedures to handle a case of false information about the Corona virus epidemic in the area according to the law.

Previously, on the afternoon of February 4, 2020, Vinh City Police summoned Ms. DTAB (born in 1990, residing in Quan Bau ward, Vinh city), the owner of the Facebook account that posted false information about the epidemic situation caused by the Corona virus, to the headquarters for questioning.
Specifically, Ms. DTAB posted on her personal Facebook page information that there was a person in Vinh City infected with Corona virus and is currently being treated at Vinh City General Hospital.
The above information quickly attracted the attention of many netizens, causing public confusion. After verification, Vinh City General Hospital said the above information was not true.

At the police station, Ms. B admitted to posting false information, removed the post on Facebook and pledged not to repeat the offense.
According to Clause 3, Article 64 of Decree 174/2013/ND-CP of the Government regulating administrative sanctions in the fields of post, telecommunications, information technology and radio frequencies, the act of posting false information on social networks is subject to a fine of 20 - 30 million VND.
