Young man fined for illegally transporting 90kg of wild orchids
(Baonghean.vn) - A young man was transporting 4 sacks of orchids from the other side of the border into Nghe An province when he was discovered and arrested by the patrol and control force at the Nam Can international border gate, Nghe An Border Guard.
Accordingly, on March 31, while patrolling and controlling at the area of landmark 408, the patrol and control team of the Border Guard Station of Nam Can International Border Gate, Nghe An Border Guard discovered a young man named Lo Van Than (born in 1986), in Khanh Thanh village, Nam Can commune, Ky Son district, Nghe An, transporting 4 sacks of wild orchids (weighing 90kg) from the other side of the border to Vietnam.

The Nam Can International Border Gate Border Post has issued a decision to administratively sanction Lo Van Than for violating Point d, Clause 1, Article 22 of the consolidated document No. 09 dated July 6, 2017 of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development regulating administrative sanctions for violations of forest management, forest development, forest protection and forest product management.
