(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of December 25, Yen Thanh District Party Committee held a conference to review Party building work in 2017 and deploy tasks for 2018.

In 2017, closely following the district's work program and plan and the direction of the provincial party committee, the Yen Thanh district party committee effectively led and directed the implementation of tasks in all areas. The economic growth rate of 8.38% achieved the set plan and was higher than the province's average; the economic structure shifted in the right direction; during the year, 5 more communes reached the NTM target.

Average income per capita reached 31.5 million VND/year. During the year, 252 new party members were admitted. Along with the task of Party building, inspection and supervision work was also strengthened. During the year, 29 party members were disciplined; violations were promptly prevented and corrected, and Party discipline was strictly maintained. In the evaluation and ranking work during the year, Yen Thanh had 43/86 subordinate party organizations achieving the title of Strong Party Cell.
