Singapore contributed the most with 10 restaurants to the 2016 list, as did Japan (7 of which were in Tokyo). Hong Kong followed with 9 representatives.
Margarita Fores was named Asia's best female chef this year, after successfully running a series of Italian restaurants in Manila.
