(Baonghean.vn) – During the food safety inspection for the 2016 Mid-Autumn Festival, the interdisciplinary inspection team of Nghe An province fined 3 establishments a total of 41 million VND.
Pursuant to Decision 4213 of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee dated August 31, 2016 on inspection of compliance with regulations on ensuring food safety during the Mid-Autumn Festival in Nghe An province in 2016, an interdisciplinary inspection team was established and operated from September 1, 2016 to September 25, 2016.

As of September 15, the interdisciplinary inspection team has inspected 8 food production, processing and trading establishments in Nghe An province. Through the inspection, the interdisciplinary inspection team has fined 3 establishments for violating food safety with a total fine of 41 million VND.

Specifically, through inspection at Trung Tin Nghe An Production and Trading Company Limited (address 103, Nguyen Canh Hoan Street, Vinh City), it was discovered that the company produced and traded food without a certificate of food safety qualified facility, and a fine of 25 million VND was imposed.

At Lam Giang Restaurant (Le Van Mien Street, Yen Son Block, Ha Huy Tap Ward, Vinh City), the delegation discovered that the dining room, dining tables, processing tables, garbage and waste collection and storage equipment did not ensure hygiene and safety. In addition, the food hygiene and safety certificate of this establishment was also issued to the wrong person. This restaurant was fined 8 million VND.
