On the afternoon of May 18, the 27th Congress of Yen Thanh District Party Committee, term 2020-2025 continued to take place enthusiastically with the delegates' discussions focusing on the contents of personnel work; the leadership role of Party committees, State management of education and training; leadership and direction to ensure security and order in Khanh Thanh commune.

The Congress approved the Summary Report on comments on the draft documents of the 13th National Congress of the Party and the Political Report of the 18th Provincial Party Committee to be submitted to the 19th Congress of Delegates.
Speaking before the election of the District Party Committee for the 27th term, comrade Nguyen Viet Hung - Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the District People's Council assessed that the Yen Thanh District Party Committee for the 26th term, 2015-2020, had basically completed the tasks assigned by the 26th District Party Congress.

To continue implementing the policies and Resolutions set forth by the 27th Congress, the Congress needs to elect sufficient quantity, structure, and quality to the District Party Executive Committee for the 27th term, 2020-2025 term to lead the people of the district to successfully implement the Resolutions set forth by the Congress.

Accordingly, the personnel list has 43 comrades to elect 39 comrades to the Executive Committee of the Yen Thanh District Party Committee, term XXVII. The delegates agreed with the personnel plan and the personnel list presented.

The Congress also planned to vote on personnel for the position of Secretary of the District Party Committee, term XXVII, 2020-2025.
Tomorrow morning (May 19), the Congress continues to work on the following contents: Electing the official delegation to attend the 19th Provincial Party Congress; Summarizing discussion opinions and comments on documents submitted to the Congress and the draft Action Program to implement the Congress Resolution; Announcing the results of the election of the official delegation to attend the 19th Provincial Party Congress; Approving the Congress Resolution; The Executive Committee of the District Party Committee, term XXVII, receives its tasks and closes the Congress.
