5 large field projects in Nghe An received support of 1.5 billion VND

Based on the regulations and guidelines of the Central and local governments, recently, 6 district-level units have registered to build 11 large-scale field projects linking production with product consumption. Accordingly, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development has reviewed, appraised and approved the policy to allow the construction of large-scale fields in 6 localities including: Quynh Luu, Dien Chau, Yen Thanh, Tan Ky, Nghia Dan and Que Phong.

Up to now, the Provincial People's Committee has approved 5/11 large-scale field projects to receive funding support. Specifically: Large-scale field for safe vegetable production on a scale of 30 hectares in Quynh Minh commune, Quynh Luu district; Large-scale field for sugarcane production on a scale of 100 hectares in Giai Xuan commune, Tan Ky district; Large-scale field for ADI 28 rice variety production on a scale of 70 hectares in Dien Lien commune, Dien Chau district; Large-scale field for QJ1 rice variety production on a scale of 100 hectares in Tho Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district; Large-scale field for vegetable and fruit production on a scale of 100 hectares in Dien Phong commune, Dien Chau district.

The total approved support budget in 2018 for the 5 projects was over 1 billion 535 million VND. The total number of households participating in large-scale field production was 2,450 households with an area of ​​420 hectares./.
